I often encounter clients who feel stuck, overwhelmed, and anxious. They know they need support and have identified goals, but may feel uncertain about how to get there or don't have the supports they need to move forward. In our work together, I provide validation and reflection, pulling from the many strengths you already have. Sometimes, life just feels too overwhelming to even see past the next few days. In those times, our work is about grounding in the "here and now," developing skills to manage stress, and providing a soft space to breathe and be.
I primarily enjoy working with clients navigating issues related to fertility and pregnancy, parenting, gender and sexuality, trauma, and climate-related anxiety. As a clinician, I utilize a collaborative style and I work to make space to highlight resilience. My goal is to bring to light all of the tools and resources my clients already possess. My aim is to provide a space full of curiosity and validation to allow all of those I work with to be and feel seen and heard.
I provide a holistic approach, taking into consideration the impact of physical and emotional health in the context of any racial, class, or identity traumas. I view this work from a humanistic and relational approach, utilizing interventions including EMDR, mindfulness, ACT, somatic practice, and the psychodynamic perspective.
My aim is to provide a space full of curiosity and validation to allow all of those I work with to be and feel seen and heard. If you think we'd be a good match or have questions about how I can help you, please feel free to reach out. Looking forward to talking with you!
